This time we tackled exactly the spot where new players most often get stuck: the very first ten minutes. Severin took notes again during his second playthrough, and we worked through them point by point — from the mission text that used to run off the screen to the hunger bar that emptied far too fast. 📝

The start doesn't stumble anymore. The mission text now wraps fully, so the important hint at the end ("dig straight down for iron") is no longer cut off. When a workbench isn't the right one, the game now tells you exactly which station you need (meat wants a detoxifier, not a workbench) — in both languages. And ore is more common and easier to reach on every planet: ice planets finally have iron (before there was none — an iron mission there was simply impossible), and the top soil layer is now uneven, so in some spots ore-bearing stone shows up after just a block or two. ⛏️

Gentler, comfier, more nimble. Hunger is now milder and adjustable — Off / Slow / Normal / Fast, just like oxygen already was (Normal now lasts about five times as long as before). You fit reliably through flat tunnels without your head randomly catching on the ceiling. And brand new: sneaking — hold Ctrl or C to crouch, walk slower, and stop at ledges instead of walking off them. Handy side effect: you can lean out over the edge and place a bridge block against its side. 🐾

For the builders — and one hole fewer. The build editors for ships, stations and settlements used to show a messy material list in English dotted with random colour blobs. Now the palette is sorted by category, named in your language, and shows each block's real look as its icon — building is far more pleasant. On top of that, the last see-through holes in ship hulls (next to angled blocks) are finally plugged. 🧱

In short: the beginning feels fair now, building is more fun, and sneaking is the cherry on top. Have fun exploring! ✨
