This is the biggest update this game has ever had — and it earned itself a name: the frontier release. Space got wilder. 🚀

The important bit first: this update fundamentally changes world generation — including in existing worlds. Everything you built or mined stays exactly as it was (your changes always beat the generator). But untouched terrain regenerates under the new rules: coastlines shift, caves move, snow lines wander. That was a deliberate, one-time decision — the new worlds are worth it. ⚠️

Every world has its own face now. Two jungle planets used to be the same jungle, twice. Now every celestial body rolls its own terrain, its own plants and creatures, its own settlements, ruins and colours — and the map preview in the menu shows exactly the world you will land on.

There are real seas at last. Jungle, swamp and savanna worlds simply had no ocean — now they have oceans and coasts, and ocean worlds roll for themselves how much land they keep: from island chains to almost endless water. On top of that come rivers with real headwaters, waterfalls that actually fall, and on water-rich worlds volcanoes grow, with glowing craters and hot springs. Where water meets lava, the new obsidian block is born. 🌋

"There is no ore" is history. The old bug ran deep: the ore thresholds sat so far out in the tail of the noise that the ore practically did not exist. Now every world is calibrated against its actual rock distribution — veins reach 2,048 blocks down, and the first metres of your tunnel pay out double so digging is worth it from the start. ⛏️

Cold up top, warm below. Temperature now drops with altitude: snow caps and tree lines on highlands, and the HUD thermometer reads your position — rain in the valley can be snow on the summit. On truly cold worlds, lakes and seas freeze over — with walkable ice, and (where it is not too cold) the water, the kelp and the fish live on underneath. 🧊

And the frontier feeling, completed: the bandits from Justus' idea are in the game now — highwaymen on planets, raider camps behind palisades, and pirate ships in space, all with a real choice: pay or fight. Plus the oversight tools from the last blog post (invisible observer mode, fair bans that explain themselves) — both officially released now. And the interface is finally readable: bigger VEGA and scan panels, a real HUD-size setting, and a new Codex chapter for your discoveries. 📖

In short: fly out and look at your worlds again — they are not the same any more. In the best possible way. ✨
