The shaper update is here — and it puts the block shape itself in your hands: design your own forms in a 3-D editor and build with pieces that exist nowhere else. Around that headline the update clears a whole playtest list: you can finally dive (and build under water!), the drill no longer stops at a full backpack, your ships survive reloading the world — and creatures stopped walking through walls. 🛠️

Design your own block shapes! The new shaping tool (workshop, cheap blueprint — the paint tool's twin) opens a 3-D editor: you draw layer by layer with the level below shimmering through, plus mirroring, copy-layer, a 4³/8³ grid and a live 3-D preview built from exactly the geometry that will stand in the world later. A finished form is crafted from any material through the normal shape exchange — it places, mines, stacks, collides exactly as it looks, and wears its own silhouette as its hotbar icon. 🧊

And you can share them — three ways. Aim the tool at a block someone else shaped and the editor opens with their form, designer credit included. Stamp a stencil and hand it over as a perfectly normal item. Or export a share code — a text snippet you can post anywhere. Your "My forms" library travels with you into every world and onto every server, just like the paint library. Speaking of which: paint designs now carry names of their own, a designer credit, and the same share codes. 🎨

Dive at last! Swimming down in deep water used to get you "rescued" back to the surface once a second — the buried-player rescue mistook every swimmer for someone sealed in stone. That's fixed, and it brought a friend along: you can build under water now. A placed block displaces the water — underwater walls, pillars rising out of a lake, a dry room on the seabed: all possible. 🌊

The drill no longer knows "backpack full". Blocks simply refused to break once your backpack and cargo hold were full. Now they always break — and whatever doesn't fit lands on the ground as a little block packet. Packets stack instead of littering the floor, and as soon as you walk by with room in your bag, the contents flow back into your inventory on their own. Defeated creatures drop their loot the same way now instead of losing it. ⛏️

Your ship is still there after a reload. "I start a world, leave the game, load it again — and my ship is gone." Two save gaps, both closed: the landing pad you parked on is saved now (before, a reload re-parked your ship somewhere else on the globe), and your whole fleet persists — previously only the active ship survived, and every other ship you crafted or claimed was silently deleted on the next load, cargo included. Existing saves migrate automatically. 🚀

And the playtest round: creatures and insects respect walls and closed doors now. Creative and Sandbox worlds can fly (double-tap Space!). Scan drones finally deal real damage — and in return nobody hits through walls anymore, in either direction. Sneaking holds at corners. Logs show real growth rings on their cut faces, the face editor paints at 32×32 with an eyedropper and a colour wheel, and NPCs finally look like different people. Browser players get the studio splash and the intro in their own language from the very first second. 🎮

Shape something beautiful — and share your codes with us! We can't wait to see what you build once the blocks themselves are yours. 🧊✨
