Justus played the shapeshifter update for one evening – and sent four more reports. All four of them are in this version. Thank you! 🙏 The most important one: in a Sandbox world you can now really craft anything, without materials. 🧰 The world dialog has promised that for a long time, and the server always allowed it – but the menu still looked into your backpack first and greyed the button out with "Materials missing". From now on you need no blueprints, no resources and no workbench or factory standing next to you, and you get a full stack at once. The only thing that can still say no is a full backpack – and now it says so properly instead of quietly throwing the result away.

Justus also asked what the sage's lectern was actually supposed to be. Fair question – it looked like nothing in particular. It is a computer terminal now 🖥️, with a new picture and a new name in all 14 languages. The same happened to the reporter's desk, the streamer's post and the quarry post: those were little pictures of furniture, complete with legs and a floor, painted on all six sides of a cube. They are cabinets and crates now. Posts already standing in your worlds keep standing and simply look different. And the residents stopped using their own workplace as a step. 🙂

The biggest wish, though, was the bed in the ship. 🛏️ Until now that was a cube with a bed painted on it – now it is a real bed made of two blocks, head and foot, exactly like the bed you build in a house. It picks a free spot next to the sleeping place, never in a doorway and never on the square you land on after a respawn. A double bed like that does not fit into the small starter ship, so it gets a crew bunk of its own: one block, your home spawn with E, and a place to rest wherever a full bed has no room. You can craft it at the workshop. And furniture you build into your ship finally keeps its shape: a bed, a campfire, a rug or a staircase used to turn into a plain cube the moment you placed it – now it looks the way the preview showed it, and mining one half of a bed takes the other half with it.

And finally the thing that caught Justus mid-game: his ship was shot down while he was walking around inside it – and afterwards he was hanging in mid-air, with no ground below him and no way back into the cockpit. 🚀 The reason: losing the ship was not a world change as far as the game was concerned, so the client kept waiting for a world that no longer existed. Now you land properly on the body your ship was at, the wreck is parked where you can repair it, and you get the usual notice telling you what happened. One small extra: the "You are in chat" hint now sizes itself to its text instead of running past its frame in every language. 💬

The network protocol stays at 6 and your saves stay as they are – ship cabins pick up their new bed by themselves the next time you land. Have fun! ✨
