Version 2026.9.15 – The glowing-flowers update: prism blooms, glowing caves and an arachnid 🌈🕷️

This time, things glow! 🌈 The new prism bloom is a flower that shines by itself – and every single one in a colour all of its own. A patch of them is a whole rainbow, and each bloom casts its light onto the ground and the rock around it. You will find them deep in caves and, here and there, in small colourful clusters out on the surface – on every world where plants grow. Pick one and you get a crystal along with the plant fibre. 💎

And the caves are no longer dark and empty. ✨ Glow moss spreads like a soft carpet over the cave floor, and glow threads hang from the ceiling like curtains of light – both shine in your world's colour and light up the cave. In between stands the dark cave cap 🍄, and the mushrooms from the surface have ventured down too. Even a bare moon without air has a good chance of a little green – and light – in its caves. Whatever you pick grows back. ❄️ The coldest worlds are no longer bare either: until now every plant froze away as soon as it got properly cold, and tundras, ice worlds and snowy peaks were completely empty. Now hardy plants can take a lot of frost, snow and ice grow their own kinds, and the frost flower finally blooms in the wild. Pick one and it breaks into a crystal.

And then there is something with eight legs. 🕷️ The arachnid is as big as a speeder, has two, four, six or eight eyes and usually fangs. Every world rolls its own – colours, hide, legs and head: half of them have a plain boxy head, the others wear a pyramid – pointed, tall and thin, cut off flat at the top or built in steps like a temple. Some only wander around. The others lie in wait: they crouch flat, spread their legs and sit perfectly still – until you come a few steps closer. Then they charge! A scan tells you which kind you are facing, and VEGA warns you the first time you meet one. You bump into its body, your hits land where you aim, and with patience you can even tame one. Arachnids are rare – only about one kind of land animal in twelve is one. Want to see one? As an admin, call /arachnid.

What else? 📂 The world picker scrolls now: until now it only showed nine worlds, and from the tenth on it was your oldest ones that went missing – no way to play or delete them. Now every world is in the list, with the mouse wheel, the scrollbar or a gamepad. 🏭 From the same carbon and sulfur ore the factory now makes two polymer instead of one – thank you, Jay-Hu911, for this contribution! 🙏 Jay-Hu911 is now in the credits too, and Theo has joined the school club's kids there.
