Nothing new to build or discover this time – instead the whole game went into the workshop. 🔧 We spent two days measuring where the time really goes: on your screen, on the server and on the wire. Then we tidied up, piece by piece. You will notice it right away: on the same computer the game now draws three to four times as many frames per second, the small stutters while walking are almost gone, and if you stand still there are none at all. The server has stopped rebuilding the same landscape around the home pad every ten seconds, terrain generates several times faster, and a busy world sends you only a fraction of the data – positions and creatures no longer wait behind a lost piece of terrain, which ends the jitter of other players on a shaky Wi-Fi. Nothing looks different, nothing sounds different. It simply runs smoother – on the desktop and in the browser, where the game is now much easier on memory. 🌍

And then there is Lyxette again. Round seven! 🛰️ His west wing had suddenly stopped being part of the station (one step west of the core counted as thousands of blocks away – no air, no gravity, "drifted too far" every second); that is fixed. Air and gravity now follow the whole build, doors count towards the hull, teleporter pads work again after a station visit, and you repair your ship with R at the cockpit or the console – the panel tells you what is still missing. Building blocks may go into the ship's hold, the stone crate takes blocks too, hyperjumps arrive with the right system name and set you down on the right planet, and there is no more sunburn above your own station. Bug reports now carry your system info, so after a blue screen we know where to look. Thank you, Lyxette! 🙏

Important: the network protocol moves to version 5. Older game versions can no longer join updated servers – the desktop updates itself, the browser is always current. Saves migrate unchanged. And the credits now also list Christopher Korb of K&K Multimedia – thank you for the IT support at the school club! 🎓 Have fun out there – and tell us if a stutter is still hiding somewhere! ✨
