Lyxette asked where her settler was actually supposed to walk, whether a bigger base would draw more people, and what settlers do all day anyway. Here is the answer: your worlds have people living in them now. 🏡 Every bed in your base brings a resident — up to five, once the base has its first settler. By day they work, in the evening they sit on a chair or a bench, and at night they lie in their own bed with a little "z z z" above them. They walk real routes around walls and furniture, up and down stairs, and they open doors — a wooden door they even close again behind them. And they have jobs that bring you something: a trading post or mission board in the base gets staffed, a gardener harvests ripe crops into your crate and looks after the saplings, a craftsman makes plant fibre at the workbench and smelts iron ore into ingots with a forge, and a guard walks the inside of your wall at night, radios you when scouts are watching, and sends scouts and robbers on their way. Nobody ever fights. 💂 Along the way, animals on the far side of a planet stopped sleeping under a noon sun — everyone now goes by the time of day where they are.

Space stations are now docked together from modules. 🛰️ After Marcel's test run they were simply too small, empty and without room for their crew. Now the game assembles every station from corridors, halls, hangars, cabins, a canteen, a bar, a market, a medbay and more — 43 modules in five sizes from small to colossal, turned and fitted so no two stations have to look alike. Every joint has a door, every shaft a ladder. And every crew member has a cabin of their own: at their post by day, in the canteen or the bar in the evening, in their own bed at night. When it is night aboard, the lights dim. 🌙

Villages, towns and the G.D.S. city are now built from furnished modules too: houses, a market, a notice house, a greenhouse, a tavern from villages up and a workshop from towns up — for humans and for aliens. Houses with more than one storey have real staircases, and the walls are made of whatever they stand on: sand, ice or grass; towns build in iron, aliens in crystal. 🏘️ Every bed is a resident — up to ten in a village and eighty in the G.D.S. city — and in the evening the tavern fills up. If you like to build your own: in the Station and Town editors you can now put together your own kits, paint docking doors onto a wall, let Check seal show every leak in red and build a preview with Assemble. Villages, cities and stations that already stand in your world keep their buildings; the new ones appear wherever one is built for the first time.

Plus a few of your wishes: 📝 Notes under the Story tab — Justus's idea — up to twenty with a title, and §-codes colour a word or make it bold. A bench and a proper two-block bed for Lyxette's canteen (tables and chairs have been around for a while as shapes, by the way). On your own station, O switches on zero-g building, just for you. The Codex remembers where you first scanned something, and dirt and plant fibre make grass. 🌱 And all 14 languages are complete again.

From your reports: Lyxette sent thirteen in one morning, then her fortress and her wreck — thank you! 🙏 Large fortresses are sealed again: the fenced area grows with what you build, a moat two blocks deep counts as a wall, floating land animals respect walls, shut doors stop animals, and bandit scouts no longer show up inside. The green elephants stay out. 🐘 Gas-sac animals no longer sink into the ground, double doors open together, waterfalls lost their diagonal glare stripes, your station shows the right sky, and trees on a station can be seen from outside now. Typing into the F1 report no longer sets off keys in the game. The wreck nobody could reach was floating far above the ship — now the radar shows height with ▲/▼, a new ALT line shows yours, and VEGA explains the way: open the map, click the wreck, autopilot. 🧭 Justus gets his "You are in chat" banner and drones you can actually see on asteroids. The network protocol stays at 6, and your saves stay as they are. Have fun! ✨
