Version 2026.10.25 – Spring clean: power to the rim, soft torch light and animals with room to move 🧹⚡
October 24, 2026
This time we mostly cleaned up – behind the scenes and in lots of small places that got in your way while playing. Everything plays the way it did, just a bit better.
⚡ Power to the rim. Lyxette built a huge spaceport, 95 by 95 blocks, and wanted to put Sentry Posts along its edge. 32 Power Relays were not enough for that. Now a base can have 64 of them. The game also only works out the chain again when you change something in it. That makes big bases run more smoothly, especially in the browser.
🔥 Torch light without tiles. In Lyxette's screenshot a torch-lit floor looked like a grid of block-sized tiles. Now every corner gets its own light, and the light fades softly across the floor.
🦈 Animals with room to move. A sky ray slept right next to Lyxette's roof – with its wings four blocks deep in the concrete. Now rays mind their whole wings: they fly over a roof and turn around at a wall. Big land animals stop with their head outside a wall, and crawlers no longer climb up tree crowns – only animals that fly may do that now. Thank you, Lyxette! 🙏
🎒 Crafting and menus. If you wear Oxygen Tank I, you can now craft Oxygen Tank II. Before, its card stayed grey although the craft would have worked. The main-menu buttons have their icons back. And when you leave a world, no invisible windows stay behind any more – an open launch prompt could even hang over the main menu.
🚀 Long flights without the extra baggage. Every drone, UFO and drop in space left its colours and textures behind when it disappeared. Now the game clears them away right with it, and long flights no longer need more and more memory.
🌐 In the portal. When you delete your account, your rescue codes now go with it, and the privacy page lists them. Big saves can be uploaded up to the full limit again.
🧹 A big clean-up behind the scenes. We tidied up the code thoroughly: huge files are split into clear parts, duplicated code is merged, and many rules now have tests of their own. You won't notice any of it – except that we can find bugs faster from now on. A thank-you also goes to ahmdkaml, who contributed two parts of it.
💾 Your saves stay as they are. The desktop game updates itself on start, and the browser version is always current. Have fun! 🚀
