Version 2026.10.31 – The festival update: festivals from all over the world, pumpkins, several bases and the Quantum Teleporter 🎃🏡

Just in time for Halloween week, the game joins the celebration: it now knows 52 festivals of the real calendar, from many countries and cultures – and at Halloween even pumpkins grow. On top of that you can finally build several bases on one world, and your bases gather things for you while you are away. The ideas came from Lyxette and Justus – thank you both! 🙏

🎉 Festivals from all over the world. Halloween, Día de los Muertos, St. Martin's Day, Diwali, Hanukkah, the Lunar New Year, Hanami and many more. A card in the main menu shows you which festival is on today or coming soon, with a short explanation of what people celebrate there. In the game there is a little sign next to the weather, VEGA greets you for the festival, and the world gets a festive mood: lights, petals, a soft fog and a festive tune of its own. You cannot miss anything: with /festival you switch on any festival in your own world whenever you like.

🎃 Pumpkins and little festival tasks. In Halloween week – and at Erntedank and Thanksgiving – pumpkins grow all around you: orange, yellow, green or white, every one its own colour. Cut one into Pumpkin seeds and plant them, or carve a Pumpkin lantern with a torch for your door. For every festival VEGA also has a little task for you in the Journal, and it pays a decoration present.

🏡 Several bases per world. Lyxette dreamed of a little empire on a planet. Justus decided how it should work: more bases yes, owning whole planets no – because a beautiful planet should not be taken away from anyone while they are offline. Now you can found up to 5 bases on one planet, moon or asteroid field. Other players' bases show on your map only once you have found them, and the planet scan shows who has how many bases there.

⛏️ Your bases gather for you. Every Base Core and every station of your own gathers resources over time, even while you are not there – the more residents, the more. Open the core with E and press Collect.

🧭 Coordinates and new teleporter places. The planet map now shows the real coordinates, and Comfort & wellbeing → Show coordinates puts them on your screen too. The Suit Teleporter now also takes you to your bases, Beam Blocks, Radio Beacons and map markers. And the new Quantum Teleporter jumps to any point you type in.

👻 No more ghost net fragments. Lyxette stood in front of a net fragment in the air, but E did nothing – it was a ghost from the planet before. Now you only see the fragments, data cubes and factories of the world you are on.

💾 Because there are new blocks, your save is converted the first time you open it. After that, an older version can no longer open it. The festivals, the pumpkins and the new bases are in your worlds right away. The desktop game updates itself at start, and the browser is always current. Have fun celebrating! 🚀
