Version 2026.11.9 – The singing-stones update: The Sounders' Song, an Advent calendar and buried ruins 🎵🎄
November 7, 2026
This time there's singing! Next to VEGA's story there is now a second one: The Sounders' Song. On top of that comes a whole wave of ideas from our school club and from Justus – an Advent calendar with an alien reindeer, an asteroid with giant stone tablets, a scaly hound, buried ruins full of a glowing liquid and, at last: running! Thank you, Justus, Jafar, Ben, Milan, Theo and the whole school club! 🙌
🎵 The Sounders' Song. Remember the rune stones with the painted notes? They aren't decoration – they are the script of the Sounders, a vanished people who speak in music. Aim at a rune stone and press E: it sings you a word, and VEGA writes it into the Song Archive in your Journal. From there a trail of melodies leads on: you answer the Singing Shrine, decode Song Discs on a Song Spindle – in a real note alphabet where two tones make a letter –, build the Sounders' hidden blueprints and question four Echoes with songs. Play the Song of Return at the end, and a hidden system appears on your star chart.
🌸 Soaniri, the Sounders' home. There you land among chime moss and singing plants that answer your melodies. The Eldest waits in the village of Mirun, and at the Choir Tower Roll and the Young Voices need your help with the Bridge Song. There is no fight anywhere, and a wrong note breaks nothing – you just try again. As a reward you win a Soundi in a sing duel, give it a name yourself (our suggestion: "Muffin") and take it along on your travels. On the way you find the Resonance Blaster, which pushes with sound and opens old sound chambers, and the quiet obsidian armour with a socket for Song Discs. And because several companions now come together, you can pick who follows you – the others wait at home or on board. The story, the creatures and the names come from Marcel, Justus and the school club – the Sounder drawings from Theo and a classmate. If you don't want the story, switch it off in the Journal.
🎄 An Advent calendar that waits. Ben's idea: from 1 December, one door opens every day – at midnight where you live. Miss one? No problem: every door stays open until 6 January. Behind the doors there are materials – different for everyone, so you can trade – and three surprises: a Christmas outfit, fairy lights for your screen edge and the Star Bell, which calls Rudolpho, an alien reindeer with a glowing nose that even lights up caves. You open the calendar in the Character tab.
🖼️ Your own HUD frame. In the editor where you design your character, you can now switch between Character and HUD frame and design a frame for your screen. You can send us your outfits and frames right from the editor.
🏚️ Buried G.D.S. ruins. Justus came up with "Old Cities": underground ruins of purple and red metal, flooded with Ressaw – a glowing liquid that burns after a few seconds. Ressaw blocks crack when you get too close. The crates hold the four pieces of the Ressaw Diving Suit and G.D.S. Logs that tell what happened. There is also Ressaw Crystal Ore, a Ressaw Drill that is stronger than the diamond drill, and a Ressaw Lamp that turns night into day.
🏃 Running! Hold the left Shift key and you run one and a half times as fast – for about eight seconds. Running and climbing share one stamina, shown as a small bar under the crosshair, which comes back slowly while you rest. When it runs out, you simply walk on. On a gamepad you click the left stick, and on a tablet there is a RUN button.
🪨 KuBa-W and the Schuppenhund. Jafar from the school club came up with two things at once. KuBa-W is a small asteroid with air to breathe, a green sky, meadows and lots of animals. It exists exactly once in every new galaxy, and three giant stone tablets stand there: "KuBa West Trier", "JuMaVe Games" and the initials of everyone in the club. The Schuppenhund, a scaly hound, lives alone on dry worlds, barks and bites hard – but it is a little slower than you. So walking away and hiding work.
🛟 Lying still after death. Milan told us: on the screen where you choose where to come back after dying, the camera turned with the mouse, and a click on the buttons also mined the block underneath. Now you lie completely still until you have chosen. Thank you, Milan – you're in the credits now!
💾 Your worlds are converted automatically on the first load – please don't open them with an older version afterwards. The desktop game updates itself at start, the browser is always current. Have fun singing – and say hi to your Soundi! 🎵
